Becoming a member of the Catholic Church is accomplished through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). This applies to anyone over the ‘age of reason.’ (about seven years of age) Participating in an Inquiry Group is the first stage of this preparation and no committment to join the Church is required.
